Student Loan Forgiveness Program

How The Program Works
The Respiratory and Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Respiratory and Imaging co-workers in an 24X7 hospital based eligible position. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.
Monthly Breakdown
Monthly payments are based on the amount of hours a co-worker works. Fulltime employee (40 hours a week) will recieve the full $370 loan payment every month, but part time employees will also recieve payments ranging from $144-$296 based on thier part-time status.
Eligable Loans

Loans must be borrowed by the co-worker and in the co-worker’s name, be in active repayment status and not currently in deferment or default. U.S. based education loans eligible for repayment include:
 

  • Federal Perkins Loans
  • Private Student Loans
  • Subsidized Stafford Loans (FFELP/Direct) & Unsubsidized Stafford Loans (FFELP/Direct)
  • Health Professional Loans
  •  Grad PLUS Loans (FFELP/Direct)
  • Student Consolidation Loans
  • Student Refinance Loans
  • State Loans
